January DCM

Details: Attend the January DCM to meet Key Clubbers from schools across the division, and to learn more about D28S! We will also be pieing Presidents and respective DLT members of Bonanza, Desert Oasis, Durango, Sierra Vista, and Faith Lutheran for $1. Theme is minions (blue and yellow)

Details: Non-profit organization here in Las Vegas, NV. Their assignments range from community market distribution, market assistance, grocery packing & stocking etc.

Windmill Library Youth Services
When: Ongoing
Where: Windmill Library, 7060 W Windmill Ln, Las Vegas NV 89113
Details: Volunteers will help out with cleaning library and story time toys, removing discarded materials, shelving paperbacks, board books, etc. Volunteers must be ages 14-17. The typical schedule is one 2-hour shift per week.

Las Vegas Rescue Mission
When: Dates Vary
Where: 480 W. Bonanza Rd.
Details: Must be 16 or older. You will work with kitchen staff and perform tasks related to serving the Community Meal Dinner. Wear closed toe shoes, long pants, modest clothing, and no tanks.

AVID Tutoring

Details: Volunteers will tutor students in various subjects.

District Convention 2025
When: April 25th-27th 2024
Where: Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, CA
Details: DCON is an annual, district wide event to celebrate all the achievements of the previous term, elect the new District Executive Board, attend a variety of educational workshops, meet new Key Clubbers from all over California, Nevada, and Hawaii, and finally, welcome in the new term together
